Transino Whitening Repair Cream Review: protect your skin from sun damage with this moisturizing whitening care cream

Hi, I’m Chie from Zak Zakka. As we head into the summer months, sunscreen and after care become another routine to add to our skincare routine. It’s very important to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, but are you doing enough for your skin after quenching up the sun? I’ve started using Transino Whitening Repair Cream EX and would like to share with you why I think this is a great item to care for your skin this summer.

What does Transino Whitening Repair Cream do?

Transino is a very well-known brand in Japan for its whitening care line, ranging from supplements, skincare to base makeup products, produced by a pharmaceutical company that has a dedicated team working on their products with a medical approach.
This medicated cream that has had a makeover in 2023 is a night cream that supresses melanin production to prevent sunspots and moisturizes to achieve glowing skin. Two notable active ingredients are tranexamic acid that reduces melanin production and glycyrrhizic acid 2K that works to calm the skin that has been damaged by the UV ray.

In addition to these vital ingredients to achieve bright skin, Transino Whitening Repair Cream also contains ectoin, a highly moisturizing component. It is also fragrance, colour free, and is hypoallergenic.

How to use Transino Whitening Repair Cream

This cream is to be used as the final step of your evening skincare routine, and the gel-like cream forms a whitening beauty mask that creates a moisturizing layer and works overnight. It’s a very light texture, and doesn’t feel too sticky afterwards, but I think it may interfere with makeup, and that’s probably why they recommend using it at night. I personally feel that you can use it during the day if you’re to go without makeup, or you have plenty of time to leave it after applying Transino Whitening Repair Cream.

It is recommended to use about a size of a large pearl – which is a bit tricky to gauge, but it comes with a little spatula and after trying a few different amount, I reckon two spatula full is enough to create an appropriate layer for the cream to work. Using once a day it lasts about 70 days, which is long enough to see results and you will get plenty of use from one jar.

Review of having used Transino Whitening Repair Cream

I’ve been using this product for a while now, and I must say I am very happy with it. As with any other skincare products, it will take time until I can see visible results (like less sunspots compared to previous years), but my skin has been feeling a lot tauter and more moisturized in the morning, still retaining enough moisture to for my palms to stick to my cheeks, just like after finishing my skincare routine.

I incorporate vitamin C in my daily skincare throughout the year as a way of preventing sunspots, but in the summer, I also use other items that have whitening properties to up my game against UV rays. Transino Whitening Repair is not heavy or greasy, so it is easy to use in the warmer months, but is very moisturizing and contains whitening ingredients. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a skincare item for sun care that is based on scientific research.
