Especially during the winter months, the air is dry and having the heating on also causes your skin to become dehydrated. You want to hydrate your skin, but you also want to tackle aging skin to achieve firmer and smoother, younger looking skin.

So what should you use?

Worry no more! Hada Labo Gokujyun series has an Alpha Anti-Aging Lotion that does just that. Their skincare series are extremely popular in Japan, and they have different lines that cater for each concern.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Anti-Aging Care Lotion

The hada labo toner contains niacinamide as an active ingredient, as well as three types of hyaluronic acids. This lotion can help rebuild depleted hyaluronic acid stores that deline with age by attracting and binding water molecules in the skin.

Niacinamide is essentially vitamin B3, a vital nutrient for the skin that improve its ability to hold onto moisture. By locking in moisture that the skin needs for proper natural cell turnover, it helps rejuvenate the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and tackle loss of firmness and dull skin.

How to use

On a clean face, take a small amount of lotion onto the palm and apply to the face. During the winter months, I like to take small amounts at a time and apply a few until I feel that no more lotion can sink into my skin. Then, I follow up with emulsion or a day cream to lock in the moisture.

As you can see, it has a heavier texture than an ordinary lotion, for example, Hada Labo Gokujyun Best Hyaluronic Acid, if you’ve used that series before. 

When you apply it on the skin, it feels as if the lotion in absorbed quickly into the skin and plumps it up from within.
