In short, FANCL’s Clay Gel Facial Wash is for those who want to keep the skin moisturized but exfoliate the skin, especially pores.
It’s in a gel form, with a blend of 3 different clay (black mud), black clay, sea clay and sand clay（※exfoliating ingredients）.
It traps and exfoliates dirt in the pores, washing away old dead skin, including melanin, leaving your skin smooth and clear.
How to use
Use with slightly wet hands and face. Squeeze out about 3cm on the palm, spread it before applying on the face.
It felt a bit tough when it came out of the tube, but once I massaged it with my fingertips, the gel became soft.
In a circling motion, apply onto the skin with a light touch, and when the black gel transforms into white, it’s ready to rinse it off.
You can also use it as a massage gel or face pack depending on how you feel and how your skin condition is. In that case, squeeze a little more out, about 5cm in length.
It’s easy to use as you don’t have to massage the gel into a foam before applying it on the face and it’s gentle enough to use every day and you can also care for your pores. I like the fact that it helps stop buildup of dirt in the pores by using it regularly, and how it keeps the skin in an optimal moisture balance.
