Since then, I’ve been using Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion and I’m quite satisfied with it as my skin has never been dry and looks plumper.  (For reference, my skin type is combination, prone to dehydration and breakouts on my forehead.)  I use it after cleansing my face, take an appropriate amount onto the palm of my hand and gently press it into the skin.  It has a syrup like consistency so, a sticky feeling remains at first, but soon it goes away after it is fully absorbed.  It glides on the skin easily and sinks in fast.  The brand says it’s a toner, but it’s more like a toner and a serum in one.  It’s watery like a toner and viscous like a serum.  It layers well, so you can apply your targeted serums, moisturisers, creams or whatever you like after that.
